Making Space for Stories (Exciting News!)

Hi all!

It is my incredible honor to share that Boyds Mills (formerly The Highlights Foundation), along with PJ Library, has awarded me a full scholarship to attend a writing retreat at their beautiful campus in the Poconos (!!!).

There’s something so special about being given the space—physically and creatively—to step away from the everyday and sink fully into storytelling. I’m especially excited to be surrounded by other writers, to learn from them, connect, share ideas, and soak up all the inspiration that comes from being in a community of people who care deeply about words.

And then there’s the setting itself… quiet, beautiful, a place that feels made for reflection, creativity, and a little bit of wandering. I’m looking forward to exploring, playing, and seeing what unfolds when I give myself the time to just be in the creative process.

I’m incredibly grateful for this opportunity and can’t wait to see what grows from it—on the page and beyond.
